• It’s the most wonderful time of the year – OKTOBERFEST! 2023’s official dates are September 16-October 3 in Munich, so we’re celebrating along with them! We spent the summer improving our old woodshop venue and can’t wait to share all of it with you – including new restrooms, bar area, and COOLING!! We couldn’t think of a better way to do it than this! Shop doors open at 1:00, the shop bar will be open then as well, with the main festivities kicking off around 5:00.

• Saturday Night Celebrations: Each Saturday night (September 16, 23, and 30) from 6:00 to 10:00 we’ll have Edelweisse, a fun trio of musicians performing Oktoberfest-style music on stage, and we’ll break up their set with traditional games! Our tentative Saturday evening schedule for all three weeks will be:
  • 5:30-6:00: Hammerschlagen (hammer a nail in to a log)
  • 6:00-7:00: Music from Edelweiss
  • 7:00-7:30: Stein Races (run our course through the shop with a full stein without spilling)
  • 7:30-8:30: Music from Edelweiss
  • 8:30-9:00: Stein Hoisting (hold your stein at shoulder height longer than anyone else)
  • 9:00-10:00: Music from Edelweiss
